The Knob Noster Board of Aldermen is the policy making body of the City. Elected Officials are responsible for passing the budget for the City and adopting legislation within the City limits.

The City of Knob Noster is a fourth-class City and operates under the direction of a Mayor, 6 Board of Aldermen, and a City Administrator. Services offered include water, sewer and trash.

During winter weather events, when snow accumulates on the streets, the City will make every effort to ensure snow is removed in a safe and timely manner.
