Due to a loss of water pressure in the distribution system, the City of Knob Noster is issuing a precautionary Boil Advisory effective immediately. Water pressure dropped below acceptable levels, which may allow contaminants to enter the system. Until further notice, customers are advised to bring all water to a rolling boil for at least three (3) minutes before using it for : Drinking Cooking Brushing teeth Washing dishes Making ice Water used for bathing and laundry does not need to be boiled. City crews are actively working to restore normal system pressure. This advisory will remain in effect until the issue is resolved and water quality testing confirms the system is safe.
